Samuel's in a big boy bed!
We were sort of forced into the transition, thanks to whichever moving company is responsible for losing an essential piece to our crib. The missing piece meant that we've had to rely on one of the Consulate's cribs for the last year. Now that new families are moving to post, someone else will need that crib. That means a big boy bed for Samuel.
Luckily, we still had some of Johnny's old Lightning McQueen sheets to make the transition a little easier. Samuel and I yelled bye-bye to the baby bed as it was carried out, much to the amusement of the Consulate maintenance guys.
It didn't take Samuel long to discover that he can escape this bed all by himself, so for the first few nights bedtime took a good two or three hours. Thankfully, the novelty seems to have worn off.
Yay, Big Boy Samuel!

I am AMAZED at how much our sons look alike...I need to post some pictures. But, wow! They could be twins.
