One great thing about being posted to Chennai is that there are a lot of Consulate families with young children. There are plenty of kids who match up in age with Johnny, Evie and Samuel (especially Evie and Samuel). Lucky for me, their moms are pretty cool, too. Some of us met at one of Chennai's parks to feed the ducks.
Then we headed to the playground, where we found more ducks ...
The rainy season has started, and it has mercifully brought with it somewhat cooler temperatures (and loads of mosquitoes, but that's another story). Days are usually in the low 90s now, with pretty high humidity and a thunderstorm in the evening. We would have lasted about two minutes in June, but on Thursday we had to drag the kids away. Fun!
